Facilities and Interiors

INTERIORS: 
In 2004, interiors of the two identical cottages of the sanatorium were renovated so as to make each cottage to have two self- contained units to house 5 persons in each, i.e, in all 4 self-contained units of units for 20 persons in all. The  Management has intentionally not provided Air-condioning, for the very purpose of a health-giving climate change will be defeated.

Facilities and Amenities:
In each Self-contained Unit meant for five persons: · Combination of single and double beds with linen for 5 persons, with 3 fans, wall cupboards, mirrors, a wall clock in each unit
·  A kitchen fully equipped with s. s. utensils for 5/6 persons,  a gas stove and Gas cylinder (subject to availability)
·  Dining table with chairs for 5/6 persons,
·  1 toilet with Anglo- western style of commode, flush tank, spray faucet and water tap;  1 bathroom with an electric geyser and hot & cold water tap and shower; 1 wash-basin, all the three independent of each other.

· 1 T/V (subject to weather and service of the Service Provider).
·  Inverter, providing minimum necessary lights, in event of power failure.

·   All the windows of the sanatorium as well as the common dining room kitchen have been fitted with Netlon to prevent mosquitoes that may come in early mornings/ evenings. Double entrance doors with net are also provided with the same purpose.

GAMES:
Outdoor: Badminton racqettes (shuttle cocks to be brought by those wanting to play and if in stock in Sanatorium, to be bought), which should be returned in same condition after play.
Volley Ball, Ring,
Indoor: Carrom, Draft/Chess, Snakes and Ladders.( Pieces should be returned without a loss), Skipping (Jumping) Ropes (Dorda), Toys for children
Play ground items: A see-saw, a double swing and a slide(presently underrepair) for children, a Swing for adults;

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES:

  • Yoga: Services of Mr. Aiyyappa, Manager, a qualified Yoga Instructor, is at the disposal of the guests, who wish to take the benefit. A mutually agreed session of Yoga lessons/exercises for all the interested guests can be arranged.
    · Acupressure & Magnet Therapies: Basic items for these therapies are available for use by the guests under the guidance of Mr. Aiyyappa.

    · Self Development:Mr. Aiyyappa can also lead interested guests in to Experience of Peace and Experience of Force as well as Guided Experiences dealing with various problems and aspects of life in mutually agreed sessions.

FOR GUESTS' CONVENIENT & ENJOYABLE PEACEFUL STAY:
·Home Away From Home:

. Each Unit has a kitchen equipped with all the necessary utensils for 5/6 persons for cooking with gas stove and Gas Cylinder (subject to availability) for guests staying at least for a week.
· Management, taking in to consideration the inconvenience and hardships of the guests , especially the Senior Citizens in going out for meals etc. and the housewives who tired of her household duties and coming for relaxation, has given permission to the care-taker in question to use the common kitchen and Dining Room attached to the Manager’s residence/office, to enable her to cook there and provide meals to only such guests. It is optional for the guests to avail or not to avail of this facility.
In Planning:
 More such play ground items for children and adults will be added soonest possible.
A Gazebo for guests relaxation is in offing shortly.

​ Feasibility of Rain water Harvesting, if practically and economically viable, is being examined to overcome shortage of water during summer.
