Tariffs and Terms

PROCEDURE FOR BOOKING & AVAILING USE OF ACCOMODATION:

1. Make an application in person or at the Mumbai or on line, in the APPLICATION FORM mentioning the dates & days required, giving in particular email id, Residence/Office addresses and telephone numbers, In particular, applicant should mention mobile no./nos. Email ids, and also give any one identity proof number (e.g. copy of Ration Card, Aadhar Card, Driving Licence(mandatory), PAN Card,Id Card issued by the Central or State Governments).

2. In Season, applicant should preferably give longer period/s (e.g.25/04 to 20/05) during which period/s, the applicant requiring accommodation for, say, a week can accept any 7 days and same time give his preference (e.g. any 7 days between say, 1/5 to 15/6, preferrably 01/05 to 07/05), to facilitate the management to allot, suiting all applicants. Preference will be given to those applying for longer period.

3. Payment: On receiving the intimation of allotment, applicant should pay immediately Fee plus the Deposit amount, as intimated, in Cash or by Cheque at the addresses given, or make payment in one of the Trust’s Accounts (communicated to you on acceptance) by Neft promptly.

4. On payment of the requisite amount, the applicant will be issued Permission Papers either in person or by courier, if so required, at the cost of the Applicant.

5.On arrival in Matheran, applicant should present the Permission Papers with the identity proof to the Manager/Caretaker in Matheran, who will give the unit/block allotted or available at their discretion.

6. Applicant will use the unit/block and all the utensils and the fittings with utmost care. Applicant, appreciating that it is a Sanatoriom, will not and shall not expect or demand services, such as hotels give. Manager/ Caretaker will however try to make the stay comfortable as far as possible/practicable.

7. Stay at the Sanatorium will be strictly subject to the Rules of the Sanatorium

8. On the day of departure from Matheran, the applicant should give adequate notice of the time he/she wishes to hand over the charge to the convenience of Manager/Caretaker and collect back the Permission Papers, duly filled in and signed by the Manager/Caretaker.

For purpose of getting the Refund of Deposit, after deductions of charges, if any, applicant should submit the Permission papers within a period of one month, in person, or send same to the Office address at his risk, with a request, duly signed by the applicant, to pay in to the bank account, giving full details of the account, at his/her expense, if any.
